A pair of golden earrings was stolen from the jeweler. Four women were found on the scene of the crime and are being questioned. They all claim to be innocent, but no one else was in the jewelry department at the time. How does the detective prove one guilty?
The detective has another pair of gold earrings that look nothing alike the stolen pair. He shows each suspect the earrings and asks if they are the stolen pair. Everyone but the third woman replies "I didn't see them" or "I wouldn't know" but the third suspect says "No". That means she knows what they looked like. GUILTY AS CHARGED!
